ABOUT LIFE COACHING
Life coaching is a forward-focused partnership designed to help you get clear on where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there. It's not about fixing what's broken — it's about unlocking what's possible. Through honest conversation, practical tools, and Spirit-led guidance, coaching helps you move from stuck to purposeful, overwhelmed to empowered.

Simply put: Therapy asks "Where did this come from?" Coaching asks "Where do you want to go?" Both are valuable — and many clients find they work beautifully together. April is not a licensed therapist, and coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment.
April's coaching is rooted in her Christian faith, and biblical truth is a foundation of her approach. That said, her heart is genuinely open to anyone who is ready to grow. You are welcome here regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.
Coaching is for anyone who feels ready for change but isn't sure how to move forward. April works with a broad range of individuals including:
Individuals feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or ready for their next chapter
Women in transition — career changes, divorce, empty nesting, new seasons
Parents & families navigating behavioral challenges and family dynamics
Purpose-seekers ready to discover and walk in God's plan for their lives
WORKING WITH APRIL
The discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure 15-minute conversation. April will ask about your situation, what you're navigating, and what support might look like for you. You'll also have a chance to ask her anything. If it feels like a good fit, you'll talk next steps together. There's zero obligation.
Sessions are held virtually via Zoom or by phone — from the comfort of your own space. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with your session link and everything you need to prepare. Individual sessions are 60 minutes. Family sessions are 75 minutes.
That depends entirely on your goals and where you're starting. Some clients come for a single session to gain clarity on a specific decision. Others commit to a 6-session package for deeper, lasting transformation. April will give you her honest recommendation after your discovery call — never a pushy sales pitch.
April brings something rare to the coaching space — over 20 years as a Special Education Behavior Educator, a Certified Christian Life Coach credential, and personal experience navigating her own major life transformations across career, marriage, faith, and health. She doesn't just teach strategies. She coaches from lived experience, genuine empathy, and a deep faith foundation that makes every session feel both grounded and spirit-led.

Life coaching is not typically covered by health insurance since it is not a licensed clinical service. However, some clients use HSA or FSA funds — check with your provider. April also offers a limited number of sliding scale spots each quarter for families in genuine financial need.
Life happens — April understands that. She asks for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit that session from a package. Full details are shared at booking.
The best way to find out if coaching is right for you is a simple conversation. April reads every message personally.
